Hotel Policies

Please respect our hotel partners that are hosting us. If you need something from the hotel during your stay for Anime Detour, please contact the front desk by dialing “0” from your room phone. If you need help with a hotel room issue, go to Operations, located in the Hiawatha room on the second floor of the Hyatt, and tell them you need the Reservations department. Anime Detour’s Reservations department is available 24 hours, helping Detour’s staff, members, and the hotel staff all have a smooth weekend.

SIGNS: You may only post non-adhesive signs with approved blue painter’s tape on painted or wallpapered walls, or on metal in approved areas. No tape of any kind is permitted on tile surfaces.

SMOKING: The Hyatt Regency and Sheraton are both smoke-free facilities; this includes e-cigarettes and vaping. Smoking is only permitted in designated outdoor areas.

PETS: No animals except for service animals, as defined under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), are permitted in convention areas.

PROHIBITED ITEMS: Anything that fires a projectile (nerf guns, squirt guns, airsoft, etc), drones, skateboards, rollerblades, heelies, hoverboards, and anything similar are not allowed to be used within the hotel.
