MASS TRANSIT OPTIONS: 

Metro Transit offers a free service between the Convention Center and the METRO Blue and Green lines on 5th Street. Look for buses marked “Free Ride” and pay no fare when boarding long Nicollet Mall. Metro Transit also has an extensive network of bus routes that access the area. Please visit https://www.metrotransit.org/free-ride-buses for more details.

Parking:

There is limited parking available near the Loring Parking Ramp (connected to the Hyatt Regency), Sheraton Minneapolis Downtown Convention Center and Hilton Minneapolis. Please be mindful of hotel guests. NOTICE: There will still be ongoing construction at the Loring Parking Ramp which will impact the number of available parking spaces.

MCTC

Our alternative parking is the MCTC Parking Ramp. Anime detour is allowed at a discounted rate of $10 per entry. If you leave your car here for the weekend, then you will be charged the entry fee once. However, if you leave the ramp and return for any reason, you will be charged the entry fee again. There is a shuttle bus running from this ramp to the Hyatt Regency, Sheraton Downtown Minneapolis Convention Center, and Hilton Minneapolis.

Shuttle Bus

Anime Detour will have two shuttle buses running between the Hyatt Regency, Hilton Minneapolis, and MCTC Parking Ramp. They will run approximately 30 minutes apart.

Accessibility: One of the buses will always have a lift. If you need a lift bus for wheelchair or other accessibility, please call the dispatch on-call phone is 612-281-4671 to schedule a pickup.

Shuttle Bus Pick-Up Locations:

  • MCTC parking garage, on Hennepin Ave 100-150 feet past the entrance / exit driveway. Directions  
  • Hilton Minneapolis, on S 11th Street at the exit. Directions  
  • Hyatt Regency & Sheraton: Outside of the Hyatt Regency, on W Grant Street. Directions  

Schedule:

  • FRIDAY: Bus one starts at 9:00 a.m.; bus two 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 a.m.
  • SATURDAY: 2nd bus 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 a.m.
  • SUNDAY:  2nd bus 9:00 a.m – 4:00 p.m.., Bus service ends at 5:00 p.m.
