Anime Detour Charity Auction
Anime Detour Charity Auction has been a part of Anime Detours culture since 2005. Every year we invite all members of fandom to join us on the Sunday of the convention to the Live Auction, to participate in the bidding of various and unique autographed items.
This year, Charity Auction is excited to announce that we will be on Main Stage in Main Programming and broadcasting LIVE through the hotel’s CCTV!
Anime Detour would like to continue our support and partnership with the American Red Cross by donating all proceeds to the Minnesota Region and National Service Fund, specifically supporting the American Red Cross National Home Fire Campaign.
Since 2014, the National Home Fire Campaign has saved over 200 documented lives, prepared over 200,000 households, installed over 1,000,000 smoke alarms and helped educate the youth. By supporting the Home Fire Campaign, we enable the Red Cross to provide critical services to individuals and families (such as food, clothing, shelter and hope), as well as providing lifesaving tools and information to support fire prevention.The American Red Cross provides support on all levels to Disaster Relief, Health and Safety, Service to the Armed Forces, International Services and Blood Services. The American Red Cross is considered to be the premier emergency preparedness and response organization who are powered by volunteers and the generosity of donors like you! Where to preview
The Charity Auction Exhibition, Silent Auction and raffle will be located in the Lobby Conference Room, just look for our Charity auction sign. Please stop by to view the autographed items donated by FUNimation and many more, as well as place bids for the silent auction and buy tickets for the raffle.
Hours of Operation
Friday: Noon to 8:00 pm
Saturday: 9:00 am to 8:00 pm
Sunday: Room will be closed, Auction will be held in **New** Main Programming
- All bids for Silent Auction will end at 6:00 pm on Saturday night.
- All winners will be notified by text or phone call
- All winners must pick up and pay for their items during the following times or have special arrangements made.
- Saturday night from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm (Lobby Conference Room) or
- Sunday between 11 am to 4 pm (Charity Live Auction, Main Programming)
- Charity Raffle will end at 7:00 pm on Saturday
- Tickets will be 1 for $3 or 5 for $10
- Name and phone number will be required on back of tickets
- Winners will be called and/or texted

Hosting this year’s live auction is our alumni guests of honor, Carrie Savage and Clarine Harp with special appearances made throughout the auction by Chris Ayres, Greg Ayres and Phade, as well as various other voice actors and artistic talent.
Thank you to all of our contributors over the years: companies such as FUNimation, Sentai Filmworks, PacSet Tours, along with our amazing Guests of Honor who have brought items you will never see anywhere else and to our Merchants from the Dealer’s Room who have donated numerous items to help support our cause.
